How we describe a coin
Buying a coin you cannot hold requires trust. These are the rules we hold ourselves to on every listing.

You receive the exact coin shown
Photographs are of the specific coin in the listing — never a stock image or a representative example. When a coin sells, its page records that it sold rather than being quietly reused for another example.
Photography
We photograph the obverse first and the reverse second, in consistent lighting, without retouching that would hide a mark, a scratch, or a spot. Toning is shown as neutrally as we can manage; screens still vary, so we welcome requests for more images.
Grading and certification
Where a coin is certified, we list the grading service, the grade, and the certification number so you can verify it directly with PCGS or NGC before buying. Where a coin is not certified, we say so plainly and describe it in our own words rather than implying a grade.
Condition notes and disclosure
Listings include notes on strike, luster, toning, and surfaces, plus any problem or disclosure a collector would want to know: cleaning, damage, holder issues, or questionable attribution. If we are unsure about an attribution, we label it as uncertain.
Language we avoid
No investment projections, no guaranteed returns, no artificial scarcity or countdown pressure, and no population claims without a checked date and source.
